...still hasn’t been invented, but I love Andy’s interpretation of what that looks like had it been invented in the 90s. Upon entering this unassuming old warehouse in the industrial area of West Oakland, you are greeted by this huge fabricated time machine, designed and built by Andy. You know when he’s got a vision, he’s going all out to make it happen. The past few days, we helped out with Locust Garden Pictures LLC’s music video production for Cstlblk (www.facebook.com/cstlblk) and it paid a beautiful homage to that era. Andy directed and produced, Tim gaffed, and Ronan and I 2nd AD’ed, but we were only a few amongst a sea of crew members. Having all the bay area music video tycoons in one place, you know you’re in for a real treat. You’ve got Locust Garden Pictures LLC (www.locustgarden.com), Tyler Casey Productions (www.tylercaseyproductions.com), Atrocious Works Productions (www.facebook.com/atrociousworksproductions), all lending their wealth of knowledge, talents, and experience to the project.
The story follows these two best friends, one of whom goes missing around the same time a time travelling cult beckons to recruit them. Interesting right? Well possibly more interesting than that are the visuals and attention to detail. The 90s nostalgia is REAL. With the help of about 20 beautiful extras, decked out in chokers, plaid, baggy jackets, and overalls, we simulated a group therapy session along with a club dance.

If you were to go back in time, what era would you want to be a part of?
