....and so another year has gone by and we have all grown so much! :) Andy has been killing it in the music video scene working with famous rappers (2 Short and E-40 to name drop a few), Ronan has really developed his acting craft, Tim has entered the corporate world, and I continue to hobble through life balancing finance and film production life. Two very different worlds, but I can really appreciate the difference now.
Coming back to Sundance this year, either we have a better understanding of how to see the popular titles, or the arsenal of films was better. I think probably a combination of both. Saw a lot more films, and got to see a lot more of the creators talk about their work and answer questions. It's really neat to get creative process insights.
Sadly, we didn't enter this year, but we had a blast and are getting a better understanding of the types of films that get accepted into the festival. Social commentary films.
